Minocylcine has caused my lip to swell up!?
Yesterday evening at around 8pm i took a Minocycline 100mg Tablet which isn't prescribed to me but my brother (he uses it for his acne so i thought i would use the same) anyway i woke up this morning and my top lip is huge! I am pretty sure it is to do with the Minocycline as some other websites say this is a side effect. What shall i do? Just wait for it to go down or go and see a doctor and confess to taking medication not prescribed to me. A headache is also starting to come on. Thanks for any answers.

Lip swelling is bad. Monitor your condition, and if it gets hard to breathe, call 911 and tell them what you took, and what's happening. Notify others around you, to call 911 if you're unable to call (ie- if you pass out, or go into Anaphylactic shock.)
To note, although lip swelling can lead into a more serious condition, as listed above, the lip swelling could very well just be the extent of it. But be safe, and monitor to make sure it doesn't get worse. Take an antihistamine such as Benadryl to help hinder any allergic reaction.
