The wife will not contract cancer from the husband. There are different causes of cancer such as the environment, food additives, smoking, etc. If the husband's cancer is caused by one of these then the wife may stand a chance of getting cancer from those same sources. Why some do and others don't...hard to tell. If the type of cancer the husband has is hereditary (passed down in the family), she has no chance of contracting it because they aren't blood relatives.
