For a really long time I didn't tell anyone in my family because I was worried about them judging me for it and looking at me differently!. All of my friends that I told were really supportive and were there for me no matter what!.
By the time I did tell my mom, I had done a lot of research on the virus, so I was able to give her a lot of information about it and explain that it has very little to do with having safe sex or not (which of course was her first concern)!. But, because I was incredibly informed about it, I was able to kind of calm down her concerns regarding it!. So far, she hasn't treated me any different, but at this point it is almost as if we are ignoring it, rather than dealing with it, so I wouldn't say she is exactly being supportive, but she hasn't had anything bad to say about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

When i told my father he struck me profusely!. He was so ashamed that he cast me off as his son forever!. I still have them and as a result i am slowly getting a painful urination/blood disease from having such a hard time treating it!. Good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
