I have a recurring itch around my anus. (this is embarrasing but I really want an answer).?
I've tried using an anti-fungus cream(for jock itch) with no effect. Hemmroid cream helps temporarily, but it always comes back.

Do you notice is it worse at night or in the morning. You may have a case of pin worms. Gross as it may sound, if you have eliminated everything else, this may be it. There is stuff at Walgreen's pharmacy that you take for it. It is pretty common in day cares, with kids that don't wash their hands, etc. Taking a shower every night and then in the AM right after you get up helps. Do some web research on it and see if the symptoms sound like yours.
