Does Gilbert's Syndrome mean lack of bile?!


Question: Does Gilbert's Syndrome mean lack of bile!?
i know its a defficency in an enzyme to help break down bilirubin, but people who suffer with this, do they also have a lack of bile!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It explains it in the above link - it's not caused by a lack of bile, just a slow down of how a particular liver enzyme is working!. If it was lack of bile, then anyone who has had their gallbladder removed would suffer from it!. It also says that it's a finding, not a disease and that it isn't harmful and can be ignored!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No its not a lack of bile per say, but it is an excess of bilirubin, which is a component of bile!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
