A bit smelly vaginal discharge??!

Question:

A bit smelly vaginal discharge??

It smells but it's not really something that makes you repulsed. Is this normal? I've been having a lot of discharge lately. Is it just part of the ovulation cycle? I've had my period before, and I'm 14.

Answers:

Strong smelling discharge is usually a sign that something is not quite right. If you are sexually active, you should get checked out for STIs. If you're not sexually active, you should still go to your doctor to see if you have a yeast infection or trich or something else going on.

That said, if you're new to having a hormonal cycle, you will have some discharge at different points in your cycle- right after ovulation, for example. It could just be that, but if it has a noticable smell and has lasted for more than 3 days, it's worth having it checked out.
