Answers:
There is no complete prevention!. Because the germs and viruses can be on many things that everyone else touches, washing your hands often with soap and hot water is the most effective way to prevent the spread of colds and the flu!. This is according to the CDC!. Try to keep your hands away from your face unless they have just been washed!. Germs enter your body through your eyes when you rub them and also when you rub your nose!. The mucus membranes will harbor the germs and give them a place to start to grow!. CDC also recommends staying away from those you know are sick, stay at home when you are sick, eat a balanced diet, take a multiple vitamin each day, drink plenty of liquids, get a flu shot if you are in the risk category or work with a lot of people!. Colds and flu are more prevalent in the winter months because we tend to gather in large crowds inside more, and they are easily passed from person to person!. Taking any more than the recommend daily amount of vitamin c does not help because the excess amounts are flushed from the body within hours, and the body does not store vitamin C!. Studies on things like "air borne" and other things that claim to make a cold less intense or shorter don't show any real evidence that they actually do anything!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The only way you can prevent a cold is keeping healthy and having good cleanliness habits!. Taking vitamins (C is best for colds), dressing warm, washing hands regularly, and staying away from other people with colds are good preventive measures!. There is no "complete" way to prevent it, though, but those will raise the possibility you won't get a cold!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

The only prevention for the flu/cold is to be clean!. Wash your hands before you eat/after the bathroom etc!. I've gone many years at a time without having either, but I guess you could say its pretty inevitable!. And also, I don't believe in the flu shot, it only protects against one flu virus and amkes you sick for a couple of days afterward!. Good luck! Stay healthy!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Only keeping yourself health!. Take a daily vitamin (a good one, not an over the counter one)!. Ester-C helps your immune system so try to take that as well!. Workout to help your body maintain itself, and if you feel yourself getting sick take some Airbourne!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

WASH YOUR HANDS that is the most important one!. eat good, get plenty of rest when you are tired you immune system can't fight things off as well as it can normally, take some vitamin c supplements!. use hand sanitizer when washing your hands is not an option!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
