Am i going to have a heart attack?!

Question: Am i going to have a heart attack!?
im 18 years old, around 5,6 and i weight around 140punds (im not sure about this maybe i weight a little more)

my doctor told me a few years ago that i had to exercise regularly because my cholesterol levels went up too quickly and it could lead to heart problems (very unlikely but it's possible)!. i used to exercise every day before i stopped and after this i've been worried about my health!.

i stopped exercising about a year ago and i've been feeling a little weird lately!. i get slight chest pains occasionally, it doest really hurt it's just a little uncomfortable!. i've been watching my blood pressure and heart rate these past few days and i dont think they're okay!. my blood pressure is around 120-130 / 80-90, my rested heart rate is what worries me because it seems a little bit too fast (around 70+ bpm)!. last week i tried to start exercising again and my heart rate while running went up to around 185 i think!. also today i was running up the stairs and a few seconds after i felt a very slight pain on the inner upper part of the arm!. this happened to me twice today and im worried about this because i think this is what it feels like when you're about to have a heart attack!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This is an interesting question b/c i'm your age, and weight except i'm an inch or two taller!. I recently went to see a cardiologist for chest pain i have been having and i took an EKG which will tell you if you have any irregularities in your heart so that's what i would suggest!. It looks like your BP is pretty high though which is another thing you might want to be checked out for!.

Also when your exercising you need to make sure that your heart rate isn't that close to your maximum heart rate, 185 is pretty high try to stay around 135-160 for aerobic exercise which will effectively strengthen your heart as long as you do it for at least 30 min!. Your resting heart rate is ok, it varies among people but it will get lower assuming you take up a regular exercise routine!. Lastly, I'm not very sure about the arm pain maybe that's another thing to discuss with a cardiologist!. I have intense chest pain occasionally but never arm pain!. The main thing is to definitely explain all this to a cardiologist and start exercising again (moderately of course)!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your heart rate is NOT that fast!. A normal pulse rate for a healthy adult is between 60 and 100!. 185 is a bit high though!. You should go to a cardiologist if you are concerned!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

U should just continue doing your daily exercise and not worry about it!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

you should get this checked out even if you are not gonna have a heart attack - chest pains and arm pains when going up stairs is not right, get it checked out, dont be lazy about it get it checkedWww@Answer-Health@Com

follow up with your doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
