The fatty tissue itself does not affect the cancer, so it does not make it more or less dangerous!. It is the location of the cancer that makes it more dangerous to the patient!. You do not mention where this cancer is and squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) can happen in a lot of areas!. Generally if it is found in fatty tissue it means it is a more advance cancer, as the cancer cells have to invade several layers of tissue, muscle, etc!. before they reach fatty tissue and this is were lymph nodes are found!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
