I have clear fluid like bubbles on my feet, then red tiny dots form after accomp!

Question:

I have clear fluid like bubbles on my feet, then red tiny dots form after accompanied by peeling. What is?

What is wrong with my feet? Sometimes the fluid like bubbles tend to hurt and they also form on or in between my toes. I've also had them on my fingers. They tend to be a little itchy as well. Also, they tend to form very rarely but when they do it happens all of a sudden and form largely in groups in a certain area whether it be on my feet or hands. Can someone please tell me what is wrong with my feet as I don't have medical insurance right now to see a doctor..THX!!

Answers:

This could potentially be scabies, which is nothing to be embarassed about it if it is; they are spread very easily. Scabies usually show up around the toes/ankles/wrists/fingers (where there are small wrinkles or folds in the skin) and appear as tiny, clear "blisters" which itch and burst or pop upon scratching. This could also be an allergic reaction (an anti-histamine, like benadryl, should alleviate the itching in this case), but allergic reactions usually involve hives (red whelps which itch intensely and spread in response to the allergen involved). This could also be due to a detergent/dye sensitivity of some sort, but it seems doubtful it is isolated to your toes and fingers; this also makes a fungal infection (athlete's foot; anti-fungal creams and powders should work in this case) more unlikely, but both are still possibilities. If the itching increases at night, that is a stronger indication for scabies, as this is a hallmark symptom for them. It could also be poison oak/ivey (calamine lotion and hydrocortison creams should work here), but exposure is required here, and most people have their feet well-covered when hiking in the woods. If this is a recurrent problem or your symptoms coincide with scabies, you will have to see a doctor. There are no over-the-counter medical treatments available for it. I hope this information helps!
