Salt is known for killing organism!. Like they used to cure meat in the meat houses with lots of salt before we had refrigeration!. However, a more asap relief would be to take 5aspirans and a cup or 1/2 cup of warm water, stir and dissovle , then gargle a few times!. When you go to bed be sure to do it again!. It will removed the fever and take the swelling down a lot quicker than salt!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
