I recently tried to learn all the tongue movements for every letter to get rid o!

Question:

I recently tried to learn all the tongue movements for every letter to get rid of my accent but when i talk?

i get concious of my tongue movement like for the "th" before i don't push my teeth forward, but now when i come upon a "th" word i do, but it feel harsh for my tongue and i can feel it, it is really bothersome, i try not to think about the tongue movement anymore but it is like automatic whenever i talk i think about it, my speech isn't the same as before i can't talk as fluently and i can feel every letter and how it move and sometimes when i say word like "ran" i think about raising my tongue up for the letter n and it feels so weird and tiring sometimes i try to go back to my regular tongue movement but i can also think about it too, i hate it, i fear if i go back to normal i will never get rid of my accent but if i stick to trying to stick my tongue out for the "th" i will think about it, and i always been thinking about other letter like the "v" what should i do should i dont want to think about my tongue movement but it is automatic whenever i talk can somebody plz help me?

Answers:

Lots of people find accents exotic. Why are you trying so hard to get rid of yours? If people are able to understand you with your normal speech just stick with it and don't worry about your accent. It sounds like it is really difficult to have to think of every sound and tongue movement before you say the word and would cause you to speak very slowly. I say "Be Yourself". Good Luck.
