Do I have strep throat?
it's been like this for a week, it hurts to eat, talk, swallow, or drink anything. in bed, i normally have to keep my mouth open to sleep comfortably because i'm having such trouble swallowing saliva aswell. popsicles seem to help. i've tried all the things that everyone else has from salt water gargling to eating popsicles. I feel like I've got a mucus buildup that I can't spit out due to the difficulty in swallowing. It's been like this for a week and a day, the day it started hurting was when I had gotten into a fight and a tooth of mine was chipped, I don't know if this is mere coincidence but can anyone advise me?

there is nothing white by my tonsils but it seems like my throat is pretty swollen.

I'd say strep or mono.
If it feels like you're swallowing razor blades, it's strep.
