Can someone carry herpes and never have an outbreak?!
Question:
Can someone carry herpes and never have an outbreak?
or how long could you carry the virus before you have an outbreak?
Answers:
Roughly 25% of people who carry the Herpes-II virus never have an outbreak or any symptoms. They are still capable of passing on the virus when it sheds however. Another 25% have outbreaks that are so mild, such as just itchiness or a burning sensation, but no lesions, that they don't think they have herpes, even though they have symptoms that would identify it as possible herpes. Again, they can also spread the virus without knowing it.
