Question: Have you ever suffered from Bells Palsy or known someone who has!?
I am unfortunately suffering from it!.
I got it like 4 days ago!. Im only 14! When i was looking it up it said that usually only grownups get it!.
When will it go away!?
I look and feel like a freak!.
Please help!.

Oh, I am so sorry!. That must be really hard when you're only 14!
I have a really great friend who had it, and it only lasted a few weeks, maybe a month before his face returned to normal!.
For those who might read this, and don't know, Bell's Palsy is a nerve problem that makes one side of your face paralyzed!. It has a sudden onset and can happen to anyone, though, you're right, it usually only happens to people older than you!.
It's nothing to make fun of!. I'm sure you are suffering some major self esteem problems because of it right now, though :(
If you read the article I referenced, it says it's caused by Herpes Virus, which includes cold sores and chickenpox!. I know from my nursing classes that you never get rid of Herpes Viruses, and that when you think you are rid of them, they are really just dormant and receded up and living in a nerve sheath!. They can pop back out at any time, like a cold sore keeps coming back!. Most often, Herpes pops back out after some stress on the body, like an infection, or a time of stress!.

My friend had this!. It was very sad!. One day she was fine, and the next day she had it!. It lasted for about a month, and she got it at around 14 too!. I'm sure it causes a lot of embarrassment to you, but I wish you the best of luck and am hoping for a speedy recovery!

I had a friend who had it, he was in his early 20's it lasted a couple months (I know that sounds like a long time) but it could go away way sooner!. I know it's embarrassing but it will be gone before you know it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
honestly it go away!. my uncle had it 30 years ago!. they tried to tell him it was caused by a fan blowing on him at work! 6 months!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
