A health question regarding infection and surgery?!
Question: A health question regarding infection and surgery!?
Let's say you are having reconstructive surgery on the ear!. How would your flu/cold/sinus infection spread to that surgery wound(lack of better word)!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
Answers:
!.If you have a sinus infection already, you should be mindful not to blow your nose hard , that could cause fluid to back into the ear canal and cause problems!. And you should talk to your doctor about being on drying medication(like sudafed) so you are not drippy/!.sneezing!. These drying meds may interact with any antibiotics you may be on so please check with doc/pharmacist first before taking!.
Putting fingers in your nose and then into your ear can also spread infection!. So always wash your hands thoroughly when you've wiped your nose!.
Any wound will be susceptible to infection!. Your body should be able to fight it off if you use moderate precaution!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
