Will fireworks smoke affect asthma?!

Question:

Will fireworks smoke affect asthma?

I am having some asthma flare ups....and we plan on going to a 4th of July fireworks show...it is a large one and there will be lots of smoke and sulphur in the air. Will this aggrevate my asthma?

Answers:

Any type of smoke will upset you asthma. An if you are having trouble with asthma meaning flare up in the recent past then you need to be really careful as to how much smoke you are around. I have found that being around fireworks smoke tends to make one have a coughing reaction I would be very careful and try an stay back as far as one can. Also make sure that you have your rescue inhaler with you and that whom ever you are with knows were it is as well as know you have been having trouble with it!!
