There are so many things that can trigger a seizure in someone with epilepsy. A few of those triggers are:
missed medication
lack of sleep
dehydration
starvation
flashing bright lights
jittery movies
illness/infection
high fever
car rides
changes in barometric pressure
anxiety
scented candles
perfume
some foods
fumes (paint, pesticides, etc)
I only listed one that could apply to children but there are many other triggers that could apply to adults.
