thanks for the answers so far
to em x yeah thats funny cos i used to be able to drink lots, im not an alcholic or anything im just 22 and love going out socially with my friends and i have never really had a problem like this before, i do normally stop drinking when im quite drunk, however the last couple times i have gotten really messy and stumbling about. Really p*ssed off cos nobody warned me this could happen and last night i fell and banged my head.

dr frank thank you for your info, i was put on these tabs 2 months ago to treat a condition i have since childhood it causes me to faint all the time if i hurt myself, get a fright, get nervous upset etc the list is endless, after much investigation my neurologist put me on these, so my blood pressure cant shoot up and fall which is causing me to faint.

Answers:

beta blockers tend to chill you out and a result alcohol can seem to have an enhanced effect (personal experience)
