Although you did not mention when you took the test, I will try to help:

Almost all infected people test positive by 6-8 weeks after exposure!. It extremely unlikely that negative result at 8 weeks becomes positive BUT the guideline says you have to confirm it with a 3 months conclusive test!.

If you test at 3 months and you get a negative result, then you do not have HIV!. As nothing is 100% in medicine, in EXTREMELY EXTREMELY rare cases, it might take up to 6 months for antibodies to show up in the system!. Those cases includes people who are heavy drug users, undergoing chemotherapy for cancer treatment or using anti-rejection drugs for organ transplant!.

Test at 3 months and then move on with your life!.

wait about three to six months to take another HIV test then get retested once a year for the next three years remember too that not all people who test positive for the HIV virus develope aids however that does not mean that you don't carry the virus practice "safe sex" at all times! good luck to youWww@Answer-Health@Com

about a month, then retest in 3monthsWww@Answer-Health@Com

not to worry just don't have aids and you will be fineWww@Answer-Health@Com
