Help! Why am I so itchy?..?!

Question:

Help! Why am I so itchy?..?

So, this has been happening for a while now, I get itchy on my legs and it itches so bad that I'll scratch way too much, and when I go to sleep it gets worse. It does not bother me in the morning, but I'm scratchign right now as we speak. I do have dry skin on my knuckles and on my arms-but I use vasaline. I shaved like 2 different times with regular soap, once I did it with just a razor and no water -I know it was dumb. Could this be the reason?..my back legs are smooth, but the front has tiny bumps and when I stop scracthing it dries, but it feels scaly, I bled a little barely visible by the naked eye whe I kept scratching by my caves-that area is the worst. Any tips or advise?..My legs use to be(this was 8 months ago) so smooth and soft and lucious, and I want them back like that . What could be wrong? ..Help.

Answers:

It sounds like very dry skin and razzor burn

when you shave use condisher instead of soap

and for your dry skin when you are in the shower after you wash put some oil on your skin canola oil or olive oil are good ones or even mineral oil

keep it on for five min's and rinse it off

you also need to expholate your skin
at wal-mart they have these great gloves or mitts they are a bit rough and they will take off the dead skin

since your skin is so damaged do not go too hard

aveeno also makes a good moisterizer for senitive skin it will also help with the itching

aveeno also makes bath treatments they will help with the itching and since your skin is so dry get the kind that has added oil

do not use vasaline while it does protect from wet it does not soak in like the creams

but vasaline does make a great cream for very dry feet but it is also great for any where that is very dry or you can try another it really does not matter but you want one that has very little or no alcohol in it and one that says it is for very dry skin

if you contineu to get razzor burn even tough you use the condisher
after you shave use rubbing alcohol
soak a coton ball or makeup pad and rub it on every where you shaved

but do not do that now and as long as your skin is broken or you will damage it.
