Does anyone out there have a reaction like me,Swollen eyes,very raw and itchy?

My Allergist said I am allergic to Mountain Cedar and Nickel.The reaction is the same for both.Why do I have this problem all year long?I stay away from anything containing nickel.I wear the gloves.I live in Texas so there are the trees all over the place.Can a person be allergic all year round?(allergist is on vacation)I also live about 1 mile from a Steele plant,(as the crow flys)that lets off alot of chemicals in the air and nickel is in there.Yes,I have checked with the TCEQ,and they are within the legal limits.Does anyone out there have the same problem and how do you deal with it?This is so bad,I do not go out any where looking like a freak.I do everything for the swelling and the itch,would just like to know if the Mountain cedar is a year round allergy.Please help.Been living here in Texas for 2 years,things started to happen about 6 months into moving here,and still going on.

Just thought i would add,I am on precription meds,and it is not the inside of the eye that gets itchy,it is the lids.No meds seem to help,you name it, I tried it.Thanks

it wont stop.
i am allergic to nickel too. as long as u are next to that mill u will have that reaction.
move. that's the only thing that u can do. i tried everything and the only thing that worked for me is to move out of the new york. i lived next to a factory.
living outside the area made me realize that i can breath. no meds or anything like that helped me.
move to a different area.
u will see it will stop.
