Has anyone had bonespurs in their toes removed? If so, what is/was your opinion!

Has anyone had bonespurs in their toes removed? If so, what is/was your opinion on that? How painful and how
successful was it in the long run? I have arthritis in both big toes and major bone spurs causing pain in my right toe. I can' wear shoes comfortably and just had the surgery 4 days ago. I am curious as to other people opinion/success in the long run. Thanks!

I had one removed surgically from my heel, tried the steriod shot and let me tell you ...DONT DO IT!
surgery was quick and a fast recovery for me. but I guess each person recovers differently. I would take the surgery over the shot anyday though !! the shot was the worst pain I ever felt!
