Can you use a syringe more than once?!

Question: Can you use a syringe more than once!?
Can you use a syringe more than once if you put the same substance in it every time you reuse it!? I already know you don't use the same needle more than once!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Yes you can!. For the plastic ones just soak in 90% alcohol!. But I prefer to buy one glass one !. That way I can boil both needle and syringe in water!. Most type 1 diabetics reuse both needle and syringe when they don't have insurance!.
Good luck my Friend

90% alcohol is not cheap!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Actually just read an article about this in the latest issue of Diabetes Forecast!. While it is not recommended it is a fairly common practice (especially for those with no insurance or insurance with very high co-pays)!.

Essentially the article stated that reusing needles (for insulin) is acceptable but does carry some risk!. Assuming that the injection area is clean and you use a little common sense the most common problem is that after a couple of uses the needle will become dull and the shots are painful!. There is an increased risk of infection though as stated earlier it is minimized by sterilizing the injection site prior to administering the shot!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No!. It is not sanitary!. The pharmacy sends it to you in a one time use thing!. You are to use it once and throw it away!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
