ive had a really bad "cold" for 5days now (the worst being the last 4days) thing is i don't think it is a cold, as i haven't suffered with a runny nose, i have an extremely sore throat (that makes me talk very croaky and feels kind of like a burning pain) i have a slight cough, neck glands are swollen and the past few days it has affected the back of my neck leading up to my ears (and OMG my ears ache like crazy now) it feels like a very strong pressure along with a sharpish pain!.
i thought it was a developing cold so i didn't call the doctor last week i was going to go to the emergency room today (but me and my fiancee aren't sure how necessary this is, i mean im very uncomfortable and in pain, but i can see us waiting for like 4hours (if were lucky on a sunday!) and them just giving me some antibiotics, can this wait till tomorrow when i can go to the doctor!? im not sure what to do, ive never had this before!? any advice if it sounds similar to you!. you definitely have a throat infection, and possibly also an ear infection!. It is nothing to brush off, these things can be pretty serious!. You should get to the doctor as soon as possible, imagine if it gets worse during the night for instance, you wouldn't want to have to get up and go then so you are much better off going there now when you are still reasonably 'ok'!.

You may have a bacterial infection to go along with the virus of a cold!. You need to see a Physician to be sure you do not have strep!.

Omg!!!! You must go to the Doctor so he give you a medicine you must know what you have it might be dangerous so i think you should go because then you will regret and say i hope i went early if it was something dangerousWww@Answer-Health@Com
