Herpes Question (people with experience answer only please)?

I have recently entered a relationship with a person who does have herpes 2. We both have HSV2 on the genitals.
Anyway, we are both on daily Valtrex as well. She recently gave me oral sex (no condom) and it freaked me out.
Considering, I wouldn't even do that to her even knowing she was on valtrex. She's had if or like 4 years and me 4 months. As long as we are both outbreak free, and are on valtrex...my understanding is we are relativly safe from passing it on to our mouths this way. I mean, I'm worried about her and me as well. I would like to return the favor to her, but I'm really scared. Should I or we be worried?
Or is it just a question of we both have to know when an outbreak, if any, will be coming and use caution? What is your experience in this?

I really don't think that is a good idea since herpes can spread to your mouths as well. There are condoms out there for women, though I am unsure where they are available, that could protect you while having oral sex. Anyway, even when there isn't an outbreak, it is still possible to spread herpes.
