should I get tested for hiv over this event?

Hiv is not a death sentence anymore and it scares people into thinking that way. people wait for so long thinking that they dont have it and find out years later when it may have advanced (I see that all the time in the line of work im in) And those statistics of 3 million people dying as a result have to be broken up into regions to see where these statistics stem from and the lesser of the regions is north America.

With that being said, a sore throat could mean an infection of some sort and feeling sick is normal with infection, but so is pain and fever, it takes about 3-6 months to show up on a test so I would get it done as soon as your doctor says its best.
