If you have hpv, and the worst starnds of it, what is the likely hood of it coming back, had a leap 2 times?

i have been married for 22 years, and only one partner, i think when they did the leap the first time, they probably just didnt get it all, thats why it came back so soon, also i did have a pap every 2 onths for 2 years until they were normal, this will be my first time since its been a full year since my last one

Once you are exposed to HPV, it can come back anytime, because it is a virus and it stays in your body for the rest of your life. Some people who are exposed to it, never show symptoms. Other people, like if you have a weakened immune system, can have outbreaks (warts and cervical lesions) forever. Since you have already had two LEEP (loop electrosurgical excision procedures) you need to have annual pap smears to make sure that you do not develop cervical cancer. And more than yearly pap smears if they come back abnormal. Good Luck!
