I'm having knee pain at rest, even lying down?!
Question: I'm having knee pain at rest, even lying down!?
I'm 45 years old and usually fairly active!. I am overweight by about 30 lbs but am losing!. I have been less active than usual due to recent minor surgery on my back!. I have some osteoarthritis and been diagnosed with fibromyalgia (don't agree with diagnosis)!. But this pain is at rest, even, as I said, while lying down!. It also hurts and is stiff with prolonges sitting!. No pain on activity!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Answers:
if its only in your knee--you may be right that it is NOT fibromyalgia--
fibro is widespread pain in all 4 quadrants of tehbody-upper, lower, right, left--front, back
fibro doesn't actually affect your muscles--if affects the way the nervous system interprets and responds to the muscles (receiving/sending pain signals)-
strengthening your muscles may help somewhat as they might not be as easily affected--but the underlying condition will not changeWww@Answer-Health@Com
