Question: What are the chances of getting herpes!?
I am 14 and i made out with a girl when i went on a cruise!. I notice a few months ago a little zit/pimple on my lip that wont go away!. any chance that can be herpesWww@Answer-Health@Com

You can get the oral type of herpes (cold sores) from kissing!.
Once you have herpes it doesn't really go away!. The out breaks heal up but the virus stays in your system for the rest of your life!.
Oral herpes is not some thing to worry about too much!. Just don't kiss any one while you have an out break, they are contagious during out breaks!. 80-90 percent of the population has oral herpes!. There is a good chance you could have had it longer then you realized!. Most people who have cold sores get them when they were a child from a relative of friend giving them a kiss on the cheek while they had an out break of cold sores!. It could have been triggered by prolonged exposure to sunlight!.
There is a chance that this could be just a stubborn zit, which you can use some topical acne creams to get rid of it!. But if it has itching, burning and or tingling sensations along with it then chances are it could be oral herpes!. If that is the case then try some Abreva or Lipactin on it and see if it goes away!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Individual herpes do go away!.!. they just return so if they havents gone in 2 weeks or so its probably not a herpes ulcerWww@Answer-Health@Com
