He gave me a std?
In april of this year i got with my best friend who i had known 7 year.
we had a fantastic relationship,the love and sex was great.
i was with him a few months but i only slept with him because i loved him and i had a few beers.
so anyway after a few months he dumped me claiming he had cheated on me his best friend commented that he had done it before to his 2 previous girlfriends and a boyfriend .
i said we could work through it he said no as he was ashamed and couldnt be able to face me i said can we still be friends he said no i love you but i cant continue on hurting u i said ok
well today i recieved a letter from the hospital stateing that someone had just been treated 4 a std and had given my name as i had slept with this person
i have only slept with one person unprotected and that was my x
now im so scared and dont know what to do cant anyone give me any advice ?

what i would do is first of all go and get sorted for this std....then once this is sorted i would tell him u have been checked out and leave it as that at the end of the day he dumped u and cheated on u for a reason and the fact is that u owe yourself the respect to sort this out an d not go back ...always use a condom and that would stop your worry were std are consernded but if ur best mate does not want to know then let it be that way.but if he really was a best mate for so long and you mean alot to him he would come baqck to u as a mate !!!
