Question:

I read 12-14 hours is a correct fast for blood glucose but others say 8 hrs?

Isn't 8 hrs to early for some? Couldn't this affect the test?

Answers:

Here's a suggestion. Just do what your doctor says. My doctor never really gave me any number of hours for fasting blood sugar. He just told me to do it in the morning before eating.
