What can I do, I am on JSA income based with wife and 2 kids so can not afford to pay

Regular testing (3-4 times a DAY) is required for proper blood glucose level control!.
I cannot think of any reason why your GP would NOT prescribe them, unless there is some regulation against it that I am not aware of!.
You need to speak with the GOP directly and pointedly!. WHY will you not prescribe the items that I need to stay well!?

they are not a prescribable item,there are certain things a doctor cannot prescribe ,as the prescription pricing authority will not recognize them as essential and therefor will not pay for themWww@Answer-Health@Com
