Hi!. Yes it is!. People have thyroid symptoms and have normal bloodwork all the time !. I have thyroid disease, and when i was diagnosed, my bloodwork was almost perfect ( only off a little ), and i was having every symptom ( most of them severe ) of a thyroid disorder!. Your thyroid levels can change a lot from day to day, so my advice would be to get tested again to make sure!. Also make sure you get all 4 tests for thyroid disease!. They are TSH, T3, T4, and a Antibody test!. You need all 4 results for a proper diagnosis!. Good luck :-)Www@Answer-Health@Com
It depends on which one you were tested for!. If your doctor only did a basic thyroid hormone level test and your thyroid hormone level is low/high but still in the normal range, you would have symptoms even though you tested normal!. There are other tests your doctor can do if your symptoms persist!. You are in charge of your health!. If you are not satisfied with your test results, speak up and ask for more intensive testing or seek a second opinion!. You have the legal right to do so!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
