HPV is human papilloma virus Also known as genital warts!. It does not kill you, per say, but it can increase your chance of getting cervial cancer (if you are a woman)!. If you have been infected, you will need to have pap smears yearly to screen for cervical cancer!. You will probably have a scope called a colposcopy and a biopsy of the wart!. This is somewhat painful and causes a cramping feeling, so premedicate yourself with some ibuprofen beforehand!. Cervical cancer can kill you and it is an ugly and suffering death!. Prevent HPV through condoms!. men, on the other hand can be carriers and will rarely get penile cancer from HPV!. If you are a man- please do not infect the women you have sex with!. NO this will not kill you! HPV is a virus for Warts!.there are over 100 types in the world!.Warts can grow on any part of the body from head to feet!. On skin in mouth genitals!. With genital warts this type can be passed to others!.
