Are warts on or near the rectum always from sexual contact?
My granddaughter developed warts near her rectum at about 4 months old. The Dr. never comented. When my daughter asked questions, they sent her to a dermatologist. He said the only cause of genital warts is sexual contact & now there is a big investigation into sexual abuse on a 1 year old. I need to know the truth about these warts. My daughter & her husband are worried sick & don't know who to trust with their baby.

If your daughter had or was a carrier of genital warts before she had her child, she could have passed it on to her during birth.
