Do I have genital herpes. Doctors only?!

Question:

Do I have genital herpes. Doctors only?

So, There are these small pimple things on my vagina. But THEY'VE BEEN THERE FOR A YEAR, and they don't crust over and heal. Oddly enough, they look like herpes?

Answers:

I will be a doctor in the near future, but I am not yet, so you can ignore this entirely if you want. I highly doubt that your bumps are genital herpes if they have not changed for a year. Herpes lesions cycle, they breakout, crust over, heal, and go dormant for periods of time. If you have they same bumps in the same spot, it isn't very likely to be herpes. If it isn't painful or itchy, I would guess that it might be mild superficial yeast, or small sebaceous cysts. I would recommend seeing a doctor, just to be sure it isn't something else, but I would be shocked if it did turn out to be herpes.
