Acne medication/ oral?

Anyone taking Nicomide or Doyxcycline or a generic brand of the two? Just curious as to what kind of side effects you have gotten, or someone you know have gotten in the past

Hey! Doxycycline!
That's what I've been on for about.... uh 3 weeks now.

Really, everything's been fine. However, I was warned that it can cause stomach pain, and so I take it only after eating, and haven't experienced any discomfort whatsoever.
At the very start of the meds, I had a slight metallic taste in my mouth along with very minimal swallowing difficulty that my doctor contributed to the medication, but that quickly faded (in about... 2-3 days) and since I have had no problems with it!

Of course, it can cause skin sensitivity, so I have been very careful about putting on a facial moisturizer with sunblock, and I recommend that anyone taking it do the same.
