Chest Pain and Trouble Breathing?!

Question:

Chest Pain and Trouble Breathing?

I'm a 15 year old female. I exercise in the evening after dinner; I walk and run but not too much becuase I have high blood pressure and I need to be careful. Anyways, there are slight chest pains, not too severe, but it hurts. I don't know why or I don't know if this is related to my high blood pressure. I only exercise for an hour and I don't think that's too harsh on exercising. Does anybody possibly know the causes of my chest pains? The chest pains aren't that severe that it brings me to my knees but still the chest pains hurt and it makes it harder for me to breathe. Thanks. And please no rude answers to this question.

haha.. It's in the center of my chest. therefore I don't think is the growth of my chest. ^_^

a more detailed explanation of my chest pains is it is located at the center of my chest. I don't think it spreads anywhere else. It is like that one spot and it feels like somebody is pressing in the center of my chest. And sometimes it feels like I've been punched in the chest by some wrestler dude or something.

I don't take any medications. It's just that my doctor recommended but my mom didn't want to put me through the medicaiton for my whole life so.. I'm just not taking the medication but controlling my blood pressure thru daily activities and diet. ^_^

You don't mention whether you are on medication for your hypertension or how "high" your blood pressure is. Presumably you have seen a physician, the physician has taken your blood pressure and recommended medication if necessary, and approved your exercise program. All of these are crucial if you have hypertension. If your chest pain is not cardiac in nature, it could be:
1. Costochrondritis, inflammation of the cartilage around your ribs. http://www.mayoclinic.com/print/costocho...
2. Pleuritis or pleurisy, inflammation of the lining that covers the lungs. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/pleuris...
3. GERD, or gastroesophageal reflux disease. You do not have to have indigestion or heartburn to have GERD. GERD symptoms can feel like a "heart attack".

I encourage you to see a physician to rule out cardiac involvement; you may also want to discuss some of the above possiblities with him/her.
