Can this be ALS?!

Question:

Can this be ALS?

For like a month now i have had a twitch on my back. Only a small piece of my back is affected by the twitch. It does not last long nor does it hurt. But it happens very often.I have recently lifted because i work out so that might help with solving the problem. I am asking here because i am worried. I am 15 years old and i read the other symptoms and i have none. No muscle weakness no anything else. I've had other twitches but the come and go and never occur such as this. This one does n ot last long but happens alot in one day. All answers appreciated, thanks.

Answers:

You're fine; don't worry at all. If you've lifted weights (or even lifted anything heavy or done repetitive motions such as working on the computer) twitches can result. They're totally normal.

ALS is relatively rare and is a genetic disease that usually strikes people over 40. The chances of you having it (or ever getting it) are extremely low.

Take it from someone who spent most of her childhood (me) worried about coming down with rare diseases...the only one you really need to worry about is anxiety, because it can take time away from fun things you could be doing.

I hope my answer helped!
