Can some one tell me how to lower blood sugar fast as a type 2 Diabetic
we just came from the movies and they gave my Husband regular coke not diet so now hes blood sugar is to height!.

As far as I know, without insulin there is no really effective way to lower the blood sugar!. If his blood sugar is off the scale he needs to go to the emergency room unless you all can bring it down with a little insulin push!. By the way, do you really believe that he "accidentally" drank a real coke!? There is no way that he couldn't have tasted the difference!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
I am a type one diabetic, which is very different from type 2!.
but my educated guess would be to drink a lot of water to flush the system, and try some exercise!. If his blood glucose level is above 300, i would recommend contacting your local emergency room!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well my dad is diabetic!. if he has ice cream when he shouldnt he just gives himself a little more insulin!. i dont know if type 2 uses insulin though, sorry!.

Make sure to drink lost of fluids, esp!. water!. If he is insulin dependant, give some short acting insulin!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
