Kidney infection?
I have a kidney infection and was wondering if anyone experienced being extremely tired with a kidney infection? I feel like I have no energy at all. I am on Cipro and was in the ER the other night for a CAT scan to rule out Kidney Stones, so the docs are aware of my situation. But it was after the ER visit that I started experiencing the exhaustion.

I've had kidney infections before...and yes, being 'tired' (I would put it more like "total and complete fatigue and exhaustion") is a common symptom. :) Get tons of sleep - just wake up to take the Cipro and go right back to bed if you have to. Cipro, sleep and cranberry juice are all good bets. :) If you feel like you are getting worse since you've seen the Dr, though, don't hesitate to call them let them know what is going on!
