Risk of Diabetes for an athlete?!

Question:

Risk of Diabetes for an athlete?

I eat everything that my bodies needs, as well as take vitamins and such every day. I also am very fit, I run and lift weights several times each week. Im 5'10 190 but have less than 10% body fat. I tend to also eat a lot of sugary foods and drink a bunch of diet drinks. Are my chances for developing diabetes offset by my exercise habits?

Answers:

Depends on heredity, LDL, HDL, and any autoimmune conditions you may have, But based on your excersing and assuming your heredity and cholesterol are fine I would say low due to your exercsing and body fat. Sugary foods aren't good though so I would limit them anyway.
