It just has to run it's course!.!.!.!.some only lasts 24 hours while others can last up to 4 days!. You just treat the symptoms as they occur!. If you are vomiting, it is not wise to take anything, it can just cause you to vomit again!. Imodium can help the diarrhea, and tylenol can help reduce the fever!. Other wise, drink plenty clear fluids, stay away from the ones that contain caffeine!. Eat lightly and get plenty of rest!. Stay away from others until you feel better!. You pretty much let it run it's course!. It will resolve on its own whether you do anything or not!. Small amounts of clear liquids frequently, tylenol for any fevers/pain!. Gradually advance your diet as tolerated when you stomach settles down and expect the diarrhea to last 1-2 days after your stomach has settled - this is your body's way of getting the offending "bug" out of your system!.
