What Causes cirrhosis of the liver?

My aunt has cirrhosis of the liver but the doctors didnt tell her what it was caused from, So i want to know how she can get it, she's not a havey drinker and doesnt do drugs, so I think hepatits would be out, but i am not sure. please help for her benefit!!!

She has never had a drink no alchol what-so-ever. But she is diabetic.
