Ongoing chest infection?!

Question: Ongoing chest infection!?

ive had a chest infection for about the last 7 weeks!. my doctor has had me on 3 types of antibiotics and im not any better!. its starting to worry me now!. any ideas on what i might do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

If He hasn't already done one, ask him to do a sputum culture to see just WHAT the bug is and what its resistant and susceptible to!. Once that done you should be able to get on the right meds!. Test results generally take 24 - 48 hours to find out what is growing and then about 72 - 96 hours for resistancy results!. The wait sucks but its nice to know when your on the RIGHT meds!.
