Question: Does hand sanitizer work as well as soap/water to get rid of salmonella!?
I recently got a turtle, and it's sort of frustrating to have to wash my hands every time I handle the turtle before I can do anything else!. Does hand sanitizer kill salmonella as well as soap and water!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

The alcohol will denature the protein of the organism and kill it, including viruses that have an outer protein coat!. It just doesn't clean off dirt and filth like handwashing with soap and water!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

does it better!. but make sure to use the kind with aloe, otherwise your hands will dry out due to the alcohol!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
