Anyone that has had appendicitis?!
Question: Anyone that has had appendicitis!?
i am waiting for results on blood and urine tests and also having an ultrasound 2moro!. i was in heaps of pain in my lower right hand side of tummy hurt to walk wee cough etc!. doctor thinks suspected appendicitis!. i woke up this morning and there is not that much pain!. can the pain come and go or do you think i have been misdiagnosedWww@Answer-Health@Com

I had appendicitis about 8 years ago, so my memory might be a bit blurred, I actually wasn't in too much pain! it was pretty uncomfortable, but it wasn't screaming pain in the first place, it was only because i got sick with fevers and things they suspected it!. I do believe it can come and go!. If you have pain in your Shoulder then it might be Ectopic pregnancy, unless of course there is no chance of that I again have had this and THIS was agony!!! that hurt to do anything, move walk, anything!. The thing that is troubling with your question, is that as soon as i went to the doctor and he believed it was appendicitis i was rushed into hospital without a second thought, i was operated on within about 8 hours, (you see it can burst then you are in a whole lot of trouble, you can get septicemia etc) so i am worried he is making you wait if that is truly his thoughts!.
But to answer your question yes i believe it can come and go, but your doctor should have put you straight in, they only suspected it with me and they operated to find out they were right, Plus with appendicitis the can only ever suspect, as i don't think there is a forgone test that makes it diagnosable!. (but i am not sure about that)

I had it!.!. The doctor looked at me, told him my symptoms, he pushed on my stomach!.!. then said it needs to come out!.!.!.before even doing any bloodwork!. The blood test confirmed it but he knew right away and i had laproscopic surgery at 6pm and was walking out of the hospital at 11am the next day!. My symptoms were extreme pain, nausea, a feeling like i either needed to have a bowel movement or vomit but couldnt do either!. I woke up with the pain and it lasted for a few hours then calmed quite a bit while lying in the er!. Im surprised that with suspected appendicitis you didnt get your results right away or be sent to an er for testing!.!.!.not something you should tell someone to come back tomorrow for!. I guess its different with women and possiblity of just being menstrual cramps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Well, i had my appendiz took it out last month, and recovered really fast and the 2nd day i was walkin and going to school and at 2nd week i was playing soccer again!.!.!. i did not felt pain after the surgery and any problems!.!.!. i was all kool!.!.!. i love it because in the hospital they treat you like a king!.!.!.!. so dont worry about itWww@Answer-Health@Com
same thing happened to me, I thought I had appendicitus but I didnt get it checked out!.
It turned out it was cramps from my period!. So that could be it!.
But my case was most likely different to yours!. I would just wait and see!.
