Question: Staying home from school and other questions!?
I am almost positive I have pink eye!. My mom and I have this deal where I can miss _ number of days of school a semester and I hit it!. But I am almost sure I have pink eye and today at school it was a major distraction to me during class!. Tomorrow I have to do a lot of physical interactions in my classes (ex!. I have typing class tomorrow)!. How do I convince her to let me stay home!? I don't need or want to go to the doctor, its expensive, my mom works during the day, and I have drops from pink eye I had a few months ago!. So a doctor's note won't help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Be mature about it!. Get a friend to bring homework home for you, so that she knows that you're not just doing it to skip school!. Explain to her in an adult way that you actually ARE sick, and that you feel it's best for everybody if you stay home!. If all else fails, just call home from school, and even if your mom says that you have to stay, tell the secretary that she had to go, but she says that you can leave, and do so!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
