I do have burning feet {on top}only

Answers:

You need to educate yourself a bit. Saying you "do not have a sugar problem" shows your ignorance about diabetes. It is not called a "sugar problem," it is called diabetes.

Lyrica is for neuropathic pain, which means the pain or burning is caused by the nerves in your feet. When your doctor gave you the Lyrica, did he/she tell you what was wrong - did you even ask what was wrong?

If your doctor gave you that medicine without doing tests, he is not a good doctor. You need to know why you have neuropathy. You should have been given a complete blood/urine work-up to see if you are diabetic or have kidney problems. If not, you should have had a neurologic work-up.

The point is no doctor should treat the symptom of something without finding out what is causing it. I suggest you either call up the doctor or make another appointment to see him and ask why your feet have that burning pain. Women especially are blown off by many doctors and not taken seriously. You need to educate yourself and be smart when you go to the doctor. You need to at least know enough to ask basic questions like "what is causing that to happen" or "what kinds of tests do we need to do to find out the cause of this."

Don't just walk into a doctor's office, get a prescription and leave, not knowing what is wrong with you. It could be something serious that requires other treatment besides just treating a symptom.
